In October 2022, I had the opportunity to visit the state of Washington in the U.S. The trip included spending time hiking in Mt. Rainier National Park, hiking in Point Defiance Park in Tacoma, visiting Gig Harbor, hiking the Clear Creek Trail in Silverdale, hiking in Scenic Beach State Park in Seabeck, visiting Kingston to see the Ferry, taking the Bainbridge Island Ferry to Seattle, visiting Alki Beach Park in Seattle, visiting Deception Pass State Park between Whidbey Island and Fildalgo Island, visiting Fort Casey Historical State Park on Whidbey Island, taking the Ferry from Anacortes to San Juan Island and back, riding on the Friday Harbor Jolly Trolley on San Juan Island, and walking on the Guemes Channel Trail in Anacortes.
