On Saturday November 5, 2022, I attended a college football game in Evanston, Illinois at Ryan Field. The Ohio State Buckeyes came to town to take on the Northwestern Wildcats on a windy day with periodic rain and thunderstorms. The Ohio State Buckeyes football team beat the Northwestern Wildcats by a score of 21 to 7. Northwestern kept it close though as the game was tied at halftime and Northwestern had a chance late. Northwestern quarterback Brendan Sullivan completed 10 passes with 14 attempts for 79 yards while Northwestern quarterback Ryan Hilinski also saw action but did not complete a pass on three attempts. Northwestern running back Evan Hull finished with 122 yards on 30 carries and had one rushing touchdown. Ohio state quarterback C. J. Stroud completed 10 passes on 26 attempts for 76 yards while running back Miyan Williams finished with 111 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
