On Saturday August 31, 2023, I attended a college football game in Evanston, Illinois at the newly updated Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium on Northwestern’s campus on the lakefront. It was a bright, sunny, and warm day.
Northestern played Miami University (Ohio). The first half started off slow with both teams only scoring a field goal headed into halftime. Northwestern was able to score a touchdown and a field goal in the second half and held on to win with a final score of 13 to 7.
