On Sunday December 29, 2024, I attended a college basketball game in Evanston, Illinois at Welsh Ryan Arena. The Northeastern Huskies basketball team came to town to take on the Northwestern Wildcats.
Northwestern got off to a slow start down 17 to 4 early in the game. However, northwestern was able to claw back and had a dominate second half winning by a score of 85 to 60. Northwestern’s Ty Berry made five three pointers and finished with 23 points. Northwestern’s Brooks Barnhizer recorded his seventh double-double of the season.
